December 2017 Grading
We have been extremely busy in December with all students working hard for the December grading. Well done to everyone who participated despite the snow. One student walked all the way from Grove Hill to Apsley to grade - that is dedication. it was a great grading we were very impressed to see all your hard work pay off. We also had the annual presentation evening where we saw demonstrations from junior, senior and adult students. We also saw the finals of the kata and kumite competition. The children enjoyed all aspects of the evening and we hope it gave you an idea of what the children have been working towards.
We wish you all a very restful holiday and look forward to seeing you all again in January.
Karate is for everyone
Watch this video and see the concentration. It is really a humbling experience. There is a little introduction at the beginning but then the kata and application of the kata Bassai Dai will simply blow you away. Amazing. Dave Kengen started karate at 6 years old. What do you think?
