Sasori Karate Dojo has been based in Hertfordshire since 1980. The name Sasori comes from the Japanese word for Scorpion — the name of the dojo where our founders began their training in the early Seventies.
We specialise in Goju Ryu karate, teaching children aged 5 and up from beginner to advanced level. Our chief instructors have more than eighty years of combined experience and have trained with some of the top martial arts instructors from around the world.
We hold separate classes for children and adults, as the teaching methods for each are very different — and we find this works extremely well. Come down to see us. You can be sure of a warm welcome!
